When my family and I travel the world, we gravitate toward the beaches. I love the sea breeze coming in off the water, the sunsets, the shelling, and the beautiful and varied boats and ships that sail by. Most of all, it makes me happy to share the beaches with family and friends. I can feel that happiness year-round from my home-base in New Mexico (Yes, we do have beaches!) because I *collect* beaches. I have collected shells, choral, shark teeth, beach glass, sand dollars, beach pottery and any number of other fun things to fill salt and pepper shakers with as souvenirs, but perhaps more to the point, I have collected memories and some truly wonderful photographs.
